Goodbye, Mr. Salinger

Reclusive author J.D. Salinger, pictured in 1951, was best known for the novel "The Catcher in the Rye."

J.D. Salinger, the famously reclusive author of “The Catcher in the Rye” died of natural cause last Wednesday in his New Hampshire home.

Though he fell short of my top author’s list, his famous novel was an ephiffany to me.   Holden Caulfield was a hero during my highschool days.  His novel was an inspiration to me to view life diffrently.

Oh, well, another leaf has fallen… goodbye and thank you, Mr. Salinger
