Another Pinoy in British’s Got Talent

Yup. You read it right, folks.  Another Pinoy contentender recieved a standing ovation for his spectacular performance on the talent show, British Got Talent.  Looks like Madonna Decena’s stiffest rival could be Charlie Green, an 11 year old Filipino-British jazz singer.  Charlie brought the house down with his seamless rendition of Frank Sinatra’s “Summer Wind” .

Like Madonna, the cute singing sensation will be advancing to the semifinals after getting the nod from judges, Simon Cowell, actress Amanda Holden and journalist Piers Morgan during the auditon at the Manchester Theater.

Charlie who was born on February 16, 1997 started singing since he was 2 years old.  He was coached by his father, Roger who is the one of the vocalist of the Black and White Minstrels.  His mother, Cecilia Sumargo reportedly hails from Cebu City.
