The country has yet to recover from the brutal killing and robbery that hit RCBC branch In Cabuyao and still another gruesome bloodbath took place in Calamba, a neighboring town in Laguna. The headlines from this morning’s paper tragically read:
Another Laguna massacre: 8 shot dead
According to the news, a lone gunman shot dead eight villagers, while they were asleep. Among the victims of the 45 minute shooting spree were children aged 4-9 years old along with their parents. Barangay Hornalan is just 25 kilometers away from Cabuyao, Laguna where the bloodiest bank robbery in the country took place some few days ago.
What the hell is going on? When will these heinous crimes ever stop? It seems that even our provinces are not safe anymore. I think it’s time our lawmakers ressurrect the death penalty.
